It’s been 25 years of AR Rahman’s soulful melodies in the Indian music industry and we cannot thank him enough for his music. And as if to return the favour, Rahman has given his fans the ultimate gift. The maestro has announced one of his biggest Indian concert tours ever, in collaboration with Live Viacom18 and BookMyShow.
The AR Rahman Encore will be a celebration of the veteran’s completion of 25 years in the music industry. After a hiatus of over half a decade, the legendary musician A.R. Rahman will be seen weaving a magical spell as he embarks on his biggest ever multi-city India tour reliving his musical renditions from over the years.
The A.R. Rahman Encore- The Concert, in association with MTV, will be brought to four major cities in India to celebrate the maestro’s journey thus far.
The dates for each of the cities are 26th November in Hyderabad, 3rd December in Ahmedabad, 17th December in Mumbai, and 23rd December in New Delhi.
The tour will not just commemorate more than two decades since his acclaimed debut in 1992 with Mani Ratnam, but will create a new highpoint for music lovers across the nation. The creative genius is expected to be accompanied by talented musicians from across India in a one of its kind tour.
